It was for one of their new hotels in the beautiful city of Montpellier, France. Marriott were looking for a new 'modern' look for the meeting and conference areas and the Sky Creations Stellar range fitted the bill perfectly. 170 chairs were duly delivered and installed at the hotel on time for the grand opening in January this year. Stellar meeting/conference seating was designed by Ian Marchant and has been a huge success for Sky Creations; the chairs have been installed in many conference venues throughout the UK and Europe and have been the UK Novotel and Ibis meeting/conference chair for the past 5 years. Sample Axis sofas were provided by Sky Creations to allow comparison against other furniture under review, fabric samples were also provided in a number of finishes and options to assist with the decision making. "When we heard that our sofas had been chosen we were absolutely delighted" said John Hoath, Managing Director, Sky Creations, Paul Male of ICC said that they were looking for a new 'contemporary look' and the Axis sofas fitted the bill perfectly. Pixel is a range of breakout seating designed in the style of digital numbers and letters. The Orbit range of soft seating consists of a sofa, chair, bench and stool, with choice of chair backs. Mork and Mindy is a range of soft seating which consists of sofa and tub chairs with two distinct styles of back rest. Mork has a square back rest while Mindy has a curved one.
