Positive proof of the effectiveness of Probax
When the natural contours of the spine are maintained, there is less stress on all of the spinal components. Typically, while sitting, the pelvis has a tendency to rotate backwards and cause the body to slump.
Research proves maintaining a minimum lordotic curve while seated represents the best posture. The ProBax technology:
- Prevents the pelvis from tilting backwards
- Allows the spine to maintain it’s natural curvature
- Increases blood flow in the lower limbs (reducing the risk of DVT-like events)
- Reduces muscle stress and fatigue
- More rapid response times
- Limits the pressure under the hamstring muscles
- Reduces the distance between the head and head restraint.
Investigations have shown that prolonged sitting with increased loading of the spine causes increased disc pressure, which in turn may be responsible for disc herniation and back pain. Disc pressure has been found to be substantially greater in unsupported sitting.
